PATROL

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division consists of 4 Lieutenant, and 17 Deputies.  We patrol the almost 900 square miles of land & water, and 1315 miles of Highways, Streets and Roads in Lincoln County.  To accomplish our goals and provide the highest quality of service to the citizens of Lincoln County, and our friends traveling through, we patrol the county with marked 4 door sedans, and SUV's.  Our Recreation Deputy also has a Snowmobile, ATV, Boat, and 4WD truck that he patrols with.  In addition, we have one court services deputy who maintains security in the Lincoln County Courthouse.  All uniformed deputies are part of the Patrol Division.

Some of the responsibilities assigned to the Patrol Division are:

Traffic Law Enforcement

Traffic Crash, and other Traffic related Investigations

Criminal Investigation

Juvenile Investigations

Enforcement of all Local, State, and Federal Laws

The Patrol Division responds to all initial calls for service, and initiates all criminal and juvenile investigations.
